[edit]The table shows 9,501,152 a total of constituents, the parties only makes 9,434,295. I assume the remaining 66,857 are votes given to small parties?

Big expansion
[edit]Today, 9 May 2025, I will be revising this page. Large expansions on the background, the course of the campaign, the results, aftermath, etcetera. I had hoped to release this on 6 May (the anniversary of the assassination), but I guess the content still matters regardless of whether I missed a self-imposed deadline. Been patiently working on this since 19 April. I've used ChatGPT, which is permitted - I've been careful to verify all claims, familiarise myself with the source material, make corrections where necessary, and avoid close paraphrasing.
There are some issues that remain:
- No explanation on why Melkert was disliked in 2001 (couldn't find good sources)
- A good number of citations don't have page numbers yet
- Section for misconceptions and conspiracy theories
- Statistics on voters that are absent
I expect to fix these issues over time, but I think my progress is ready to be publicised. Koopinator (talk) 12:38, 9 May 2025 (UTC)

Table
[edit]Hi! Thanks for the large addition. With regards to the 1998 table, I would indeed leave that out (it's too much detail) and include an image simply showing how many seats the parties had. Dajasj (talk) 13:35, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
