Sycamore Place is a 143 ft (44 m) tall modern style residential building located on 285 Maplewood Avenue in Bridgeport. The building has 12 floors and was built in 1974. Upon its completion, it was the 13th-tallest building in Bridgeport. As of September 2026, it is the 15th-tallest building in Bridgeport.
In 2013, a fire broke out on the ninth floor of the building due to a mattress catching fire. One person received minor burns and was sent to a hospital, and another person reported having trouble breathing.[3]
