Suparna Sharma is an Indian investigative journalist and editor. She shared the 2026 Pulitzer Prize for Illustrated Reporting and Commentary with illustrator Anand Radhakrishnan and Bloomberg journalist Natalie Obiko Pearson for trAPPed, an illustrated investigation into digital arrest scams in India.[1][2]
Sharma began working in journalism in 1991.[3] Her previous roles include resident editor of The Asian Age, chief subeditor at The Times of India, and senior correspondent on the special investigations team at The Indian Express. Her reporting has covered crime, conflict, national disasters and government corruption.[1][4]
