Ross Anderson (born 15 July 1987) is a Scottish actor.

Early life and career

Anderson was born in Paisley, Renfrewshire and raised in Bo'ness. He trained as an actor at the Drama Centre London. Anderson made his television debut in the 2013 miniseries Privates in the role of Private Lomax. In the following years he received roles in the 2014 adaptation of Louis Zamperini's biography Unbroken as Blackie and Justin Kurzel's 2015 adaptation of William Shakespeare's Macbeth as the Thane of Ross. He continued his television roles as Alex in three episodes of the television series Legends in 2015. In 2019, he played a larger role in Crawl by Alexandre Aja. In 2022, he appeared as Prince Domnal in five episodes of the Netflix series The Last Kingdom, a role he reprised in the accompanying feature film The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die (2023). In 2024 he appeared in the comedy heist film Lift.

Private life

Anderson married actress Claudie Blakley in December 2022 in New York. They have one daughter.
