Oxychalepus normalis is a species of beetle of the family Chrysomelidae. It is found in Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama and Venezuela.
Description
[edit]Adults reach a length of about 8.7–10.5 mm. Adults are yellowish-red with a black head and antennae. The lateral margins of the pronotum are black and the elytron is yellowish-red with the suture at the base darker.[1]
Biology
[edit]The foodplant is unknown, but adults have been collected on Cassia species.[2]
