Ismail bin Lasim (born 15 April 1959) is a Malaysian politician and lawyer who is the current Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan since August 2026.
He has served as Member of the Negeri Sembilan State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) state administration under former Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun from August 2023 until the collapse of the PH state administration in August 2026, aandin the Barisan Nasional (BN) state administration under former Menteri Besar Mohamad Hasan from March 2004 to the collapse of the BN state administration in May 2018, as well as Member of the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Juasseh from May 2018 to August 2023 and again since August 2026. He served as Senaling MLA from November 1999 until May 2018 and again romAugust 2023. until August 2026
He is a member, State Information Chief and the Division Chief of Kuala Pilah of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party of the BN coalition.
