fatjoe.com is a British white-label search engine optimization (SEO) fulfilment platform. The company provides outsourced link-building, content writing, digital PR, and local SEO services primarily to marketing agencies and in-house marketing teams.[1]
Activity
[edit]The concept for fatjoe was developed in 2012 by Joe Davies, then Head of SEO at a UK digital agency, and Joe Taylor. The company officially launched on 5 April 2013 in Cannock, Staffordshire, England.[2] Its first employee, Emily Bradley, who later became Head of Business Operations, joined the company the same year.[3]
During the mid-2010s, fatjoe.com expanded beyond the United Kingdom into the United States, Canada and Australia and included content writing, citation building, infographics and digital PR.[4] In 2020, the company introduced hybrid working following the COVID-19 lockdowns.
Since 2024, fatjoe.com partnered with Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity through the hospital's Changemakers initiative. The company donates £1 from every order to the charity and has participated in fundraising activities including a charity 10K run, and a "race the plane" exercise-bike event. As of 2026, the partnership has raised £27,846.[5][6]
fatjoe.com operates as a white-label platform, allowing marketing agencies to resell its services under their own brands. The company offers link building, digital PR, AI SEO, local SEO through citation building, and content writing for blogs, websites, press releases and product descriptions.[7][8] The company also offers a managed subscription service branded Grow, which provides agencies with end-to-end SEO campaign management.[9][10]
