Enola Chiesa (born July 16, 2000) is an Italian tennis player.
She has a career-high doubles ranking by the WTA of No. 276, achieved on 3 August 2026.[1][2]
Early life
[edit]Born in Valenza, Chiesa began playing tennis at the age of seven. Her tennis idol is Rafael Nadal. She trained under Graziano Gavazzi.[3]
Career
[edit]In August 2023, she and compatriot Samira De Stefano has lost the women's doubles final at the World Tennis Tour in Wanfercée-Baulet. Defeated German Selina Dal and Dutch Stephanie Judith Visscher.[4]
In September 2023, She played in the singles final at the ITF W15 event held in Fiano Romano, Italy. In doubles, she won the first title of her career.[5] A few weeks later, she was forced to retire from the match after suffering an injury during the final of an ITF W15 event in Kuršumlijska Banja, Serbia.[6]
In November 2023, she and compatriot Alessandra Mazzola has lost the women's doubles final at the World Tennis Tour in Valencia. Defeated Spanish Martina Genis Salas and French Tiantsoa Rakotomanga Rajaonah.[7]
In September 2024, She won the doubles title at the ITF W15 events held in Nogent-sur-Marne, France,[8] and In November 2024, in Nules, Spain.[9]
In April 2026, she and Latvian Beatrise Zeltiņa has won the women's doubles final at the World Tennis Tour in Santa Margherita di Pula. Defeating Italian paring Tyra Caterina Grant, and Jennifer Ruggeri.[10]
In August 2026, she and Slovenian Dalila Jakupović has won the women's doubles final at the World Tennis Tour in Ladies Open Hechingen. Defeating Greek Sapfo Sakellaridi, and Italian Aurora Zantedeschi.[11][12] This championship is her first major title.
