Note for reviewer — additional notability context

[edit]

For the reviewing editor: in addition to the cited sources, T35 Hosting is already referenced by name as plain unlinked text in the existing Wikipedia article 2010 Austin suicide attack, where it is cited as the hosting provider that took down Stack's manifesto at FBI request. A draft article now exists at Draft:T35 Hosting which, if accepted, would allow that existing mention to be properly wikilinked.

Key independent sources supporting notability include: Bloomberg/BusinessWeek editorial feature (2006, Top 25 Entrepreneurs Under 25), Bloomberg "101 Best Web Freebies" (2009), DOJ press release naming T35 as victim in federal botnet case (2010), FBI press release (2010), Reuters, Computerworld, PCWorld, Electronic Frontier Foundation (subdomain patent case naming T35 alongside LiveJournal), CNET, Adweek, and ABC News. Conflict of interest disclosure

Academic source added

[edit]

Added a peer-reviewed academic source to the botnet section: Chawki et al., Cybercrime, Digital Forensics and Jurisdiction (Springer, 2015), which discusses the T35.net database breach on p. 28. This supplements the existing Department of Justice and news coverage of the same event with an independent secondary academic source. ITGuru (talk) 21:54, 13 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
