Universal Recovered was an American post-hardcore band formed in El Paso, Texas, during the late 1990s. Active during the height of El Paso's underground post-hardcore movement, the band performed regularly at DIY venues such as Headquarter Records and toured regionally alongside local contemporaries.[1]

Members of Universal Recovered later contributed to several prominent Southwest musical projects, including Belknap, Sleepercar (featuring Jim Ward), and The Push.[2]
