Stacy Washington is an American conservative radio host, television personality, columnist, and political commentator. She is the host of Stacy on the Right, a talk program broadcast on SiriusXM’s Patriot channel,[1] A decorated United States Air Force veteran, she is known for Christian-conservative commentary, gun-rights advocacy, and appearances across national television and radio.[2] [3]
Washington was named the Second Amendment Foundation’s Journalist of the Year in 2018 and is an Emmy Award–nominated television personality. She is the author of the 2022 book Eternally Cancel Proof: A Guide for Courageous Christians Navigating the Political Battlefront.[3] [6]
Early life and family
[edit]Washington is the daughter of a United States Army military police officer and a budget analyst who worked for the U.S. federal government.[1] [3] She and her sister spent much of their childhood in Germany, where her father was stationed, and she has traveled to Saudi Arabia, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, France, England, and the Netherlands.[1] [3]She has described herself as the fourth generation of her family to serve in the armed forces.[2]
Military service
[edit]Washington served on active duty in the United States Air Force. During her service she qualified at the Marksman designation and received several decorations, including the Air Force Achievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Humanitarian Service Medal, the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, and the Air Force Training Ribbon.[1]
Radio and television
[edit]Washington launched a Sunday-night call-in program on SiriusXM’s Patriot channel in 2016.[7] Her program Stacy on the Right later became part of the Patriot weeknight lineup; new episodes air weeknights on SiriusXM Patriot (channel 125), from 9 p.m. to midnight Eastern Time.[1] [2] Washington has said she has given several thousand radio and television interviews over the course of her career.[3]
As a television personality she has appeared on Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, The Blaze, PBS, Al Jazeera, NRATV, and other outlets, and has guest-hosted national talk programs including the David Webb Show and the Wilkow Majority.[1][3]
Washington received an Emmy nomination for her work as host of the documentary program Missouri, Best in the Midwest.[1]
Writing and commentary
[edit]Washington has written opinion columns for outlets including Fox News Opinion, the NRA magazine America’s First Freedom, and Townhall.[1] [3] Her work has also appeared in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, The Daily Caller, The Federalist, RealClearPolitics, Investor’s Business Daily, the Kansas City Star, NewsBusters, and the Missouri Times, among others.[1] [3]
Political activism and organizations
[edit]Washington served as co-chairwoman of the Project 21 National Advisory Council of the National Center for Public Policy Research.[3] During the 2020 U.S. presidential campaign she served as a co-chair of Black Voices for Trump and as a board member of Veterans for Trump, coalitions associated with the reelection campaign of Donald Trump.[1] She has been an ambassador for the America First Policy Institute and is the chief executive of Share Net Ministries.[1]
A supporter of gun rights, Washington is a member of the National Rifle Association and an advocate of the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution.[1] [2] She was previously an elected member of her local school district’s board of education, on which she served as vice president, board secretary, and director.[1] [3]
Awards and recognition
[edit]Washington was named the Second Amendment Foundation’s Journalist of the Year in 2018, and she appeared on the cover of the July 2017 issue of the NRA magazine America’s First Freedom.[3] She is an Emmy-nominated television personality[2] and, according to her website, a 2025 recipient of the STAND Foundation’s George Washington Award.[1]
Book
[edit]In 2022, Washington published Eternally Cancel Proof: A Guide for Courageous Christians Navigating the Political Battlefront, in which she describes her Christian faith and her political shift from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party.[6]
Personal life
[edit]Washington is a Christian. She and her husband live in the St. Louis area and have three children.[2]
