Comment: This has been some repeated low effort submissions by a paid editor who doesn't seem to know or understand our policies fully. If this continues, rejection should be considered instead of continuing to waste the time of volunteers. Sulfurboy (talk) 19:47, 5 August 2026 (UTC)
Comment: Please don't use AI to assist you in editing this draft. Also, notability nowhere near established. Just a bunch of WP:ORGTRIV and WP:CHURN Sulfurboy (talk) 19:43, 5 August 2026 (UTC)
Comment: Paid disclosure is incomplete, in particular you do not state who is paying you or on who's behalf you are working. This needs to be corrected. Sulfurboy (talk) 18:26, 5 August 2026 (UTC)
Comment: This draft is written from the viewpoint of the company, focusing on what the company says about itself. Corporate notability is based on what independent reliable sources have written about the subject. Not every business corporation is notable, and this draft does not establish corporate notability. You may ask for advice about corporate notability at the Teahouse. Robert McClenon (talk) 18:27, 3 August 2026 (UTC)

Sarwa Digital Wealth (Capital) Limited is a United Arab Emirates–based financial technology company licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).[1] The company operates a digital platform offering self-directed trading, managed portfolios, cryptocurrency access, cash management accounts, and private wealth advisory services. Founded in Dubai in 2017, the company later established its principal office in Abu Dhabi.[2] In May 2026, Sarwa became the first UAE-founded fintech to surpass $1 billion in client assets.[3][4][5]
History
[edit]Sarwa was founded in Dubai in 2017 by Mark Chahwan, Jad Sayegh, and Nadine Mezher. In November 2018, Sarwa became the first participant to complete the Dubai Financial Services Authority's (DFSA) Innovation Testing Licence programme and receive a full licence, establishing it as one of the first regulated robo-advisories in the UAE.[6][7]
Between 2018 and 2021, Sarwa completed four funding rounds totalling US$25 million, including a US$15 million Series B round in August 2021.[8][9][10]
Sarwa reached profitability in 2024, sustaining it across all four quarters of that year.[11]
Regulatory history
[edit]In May 2024, the DFSA imposed a financial penalty of US$191,100 (reduced from US$390,000) on Sarwa Digital Wealth Limited for offering shares of its parent company without an approved prospectus. The DFSA found that the company had withheld financial information and supplied potential investors with metrics that gave a misleading impression of its financial position, in breach of the Markets Law.[12][13]
The same day, the FSRA fined Sarwa Digital Wealth (Capital) Limited US$122,500 for the same conduct within ADGM, finding that the company had made an offer of securities without an approved prospectus. The FSRA recorded that 144 investors had subscribed to the offer and committed approximately US$2.1 million, and issued a requirement for Sarwa to undertake an independent review of its governance arrangements.[14]
Sarwa reversed all investor subscriptions and returned the committed funds following notification of the regulators' concerns. Both penalties had been reduced from their original amounts in recognition of the company's cooperation with the investigation.[15]
