Sardarapat Football Club (Template:Lang-hy), commonly known as Sardarapat FC, is an Armenian professional football club and youth academy based in Armavir, Armavir Province. The senior team competes in the Armenian Premier League, the top tier of Armenian football, after earning promotion for the 2026–27 season.
History

[edit]Sardarapat FC was founded in 2021 in Armavir with the mission of building a modern youth academy and professional football pipeline in Armavir Province. The club takes its name from the historical Battle of Sardarabad of 1918 and operates under the official motto "BORN IN VICTORY".
Technical Partnership with RC Lens
[edit]Sardarapat FC maintains an elite technical partnership with French Ligue 1 club RC Lens. The collaboration focuses on training local coaches under European standards, implementing structured academy physical and tactical frameworks, and creating international pathways for young talent.
Premier League Promotion
[edit]Following a successful campaign in the Armenian First League, Sardarapat FC secured promotion to the Armenian Premier League for the 2026–27 season. The team made an immediate impact in top-flight football by winning their opening fixture 4–1 against FC Van on 31 July 2026.
