Sanjay Kumar is an Indian software developer and IT project manager. As a Class 12 school student in 2020, he developed a chat application similar to WhatsApp, which was reported by Tamil-language television channels.[1][2]
Early work
[edit]In September 2020, the Tamil news channel Thanthi TV reported on a Class 12 school student who had built a WhatsApp-like chatting application.[1] Sun News also carried a report titled "School boy developed a chat App".[2]
Career
[edit]As of 2026, Kumar works as an IT project manager at a company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.[citation needed]
