Sadia Haque is a Bangladeshi businesswoman. She is a co-founder and the chief executive officer of ShareTrip, an online travel agency based in Dhaka.[1]
Career
[edit]Haque worked in marketing roles at multinational companies for around a decade before co-founding ShareTrip in 2014.[1]
In a June 2025 feature on women founders in the Bangladeshi startup sector, The Business Standard reported her account of moving from a corporate marketing career into entrepreneurship, and of establishing credibility with airline and hotel partners in an industry in which few women held senior commercial positions.[1]
In July 2026 Haque spoke on startup policy at an event held by the Information and Communication Technology Division at the University of Dhaka, at which Prime Minister Tarique Rahman discussed government support for Bangladeshi technology companies.[2][3]
Recognition
[edit]Haque has received a number of Bangladeshi business awards, including Women Leader of the Year at the 2023 Kotler Awards,[4] Chief Executive Officer of the Year in the startup category at the 2023 Bangladesh C-Suite Awards,[5] and Outstanding Woman in Business at the 2024 Bangladesh Business Awards.[6]
