NextCom Group is a Greek group of companies operating in the communications, technology, energy and consulting sectors. The business activities from which the present-day group developed began in 1993 in Ioannina, Greece, while NextCom was established in 2000.[1]

In 2025, the group was included in the FT 1000: Europe's Fastest Growing Companies ranking published by the Financial Times in association with Statista.[2]

History

[edit]

The origins of the group date to 1993, when the advertising company Apeirotan EPE was established in Ioannina by Anastasios Marios Kitsaras. The company initially operated in advertising and communications.[1]

During the 1990s, the business expanded into internet services and graphic arts. The consolidation of related activities subsequently led to the creation of Next Media.[1]

NextCom was established in 2000, with activities related to emerging technologies and internet-based services. Next Media was later merged with NextCom, with the resulting business retaining the NextCom name.[1]

Over the following years, the group expanded beyond communications into technology, consulting and energy-related activities.[1]

CGC Communication partnership

[edit]

In March 2022, a strategic partnership between CGC Communication and NextCom Group was announced. The cooperation covered communications, promotion and digital transformation services.[3]

The partnership formed part of the group's expansion in communications and digital services.[3]

Expansion into energy

[edit]

The group's diversification included activities in renewable energy and related services.

In March 2024, PVMAINT Energy Services became part of NextCom Group's energy operations. PVMAINT operates in the design, construction and maintenance of photovoltaic installations and renewable-energy projects.[4]

Operations

[edit]

NextCom Group operates across several business sectors, including communications, digital and technology services, consulting and energy.[1]

Its communications activities include strategic communications, advertising and digital communications services. The group's collaboration with CGC Communication expanded its activities in corporate communications and digital transformation services.[3]

In the energy sector, the group's activities include photovoltaic systems and renewable-energy projects through its energy operations and PVMAINT Energy Services.[4]
