Mudar Hamdan (Arabic: تغيير حمدان) is a Syrian Murshidi politician who has served as member of the People's Assembly since July 2026.
Biografy
[edit]He was born in Latakia Governorate in 1991. He is a Dentist.[1]
Following the release of the Syrian presidential list, he became a member of the People's Assembly.[2]
Controversy
[edit]Around 200 students and alumni from the Faculty of Dentistry at Damascus University signed a petition calling for his removal from parliament, accusing him of past loyalty to and links with the previous Assad regime[3]
He subsequently denied the allegations, claiming that a online smear campaign had been launched against him, and say that his father was a prisoner at Sednaya Prison[4]
