Melissa Daub is a democratic politician who serves as the Wayne County Commissioner for District 10 , which includes Plymouth, Plymouth Township, and Canton Township. She was first elected in 2018 and currently serves as chair of the Committee on Audit, vice-chair of the Committee on Public Safety, Judiciary and Homeland Security, Judiciary and Homeland Security, and member of the Committee on Senior Citizens and Veterans Affairs.

Commissioner Daub serves on the state level as a member of the Michigan Associate of Counties (MAC) [1] and at the national level as a member of the National Association of Counties (NACo) board of directors. [2] In 2024, she was elected as president of the NACo board and expression her vision would include, "increased participation, influence, and impact." [3]
