Kormedi (Korean: 코메디닷컴) is a South Korean digital healthcare media outlet and platform founded in October 2006 by Korea Medicare. It publishes health, medical, and lifestyle news. The content is distributed through South Korean web portals including Naver and Daum.
History and Operations
[edit]Kormedi was established in October 2006 and officially launched in 2007 under the leadership of CEO Lee Sung-ju.[1] In 2007, it received the Digital Contents Award from the South Korean Ministry of Information and Communication.[2] The website also received HONcode (Health On the Net Foundation) certification in the same year.[3]
The company expanded its operations by releasing a doctor-finding mobile application called "Bedoc" in 2019.[4]
