Jim Nola MC (born Bulega James Ssenyonjo) is a Ugandan hip-hop artist, songwriter, and producer known for his contributions to the Lugaflow genre. He is recognized for his technical rapping style, including the use of complex metaphors and punchlines. He is often referred to by his fans as "The Sun of Najjuma" and the "Hip Hop Savior."

Early Life

​Bulega James Ssenyonjo was born in Kawempe, a division of Kampala, Uganda. He began rapping at the age of nine while attending Buganda Road Primary School. He later attended Wampewo Ntakke for his secondary education. ​

Career

​Jim Nola MC is signed to the Hiphoptamus record label. He gained widespread attention in the Ugandan music industry for his lyrical "diss" tracks and his ability to maintain a traditional hip-hop sound within the local music scene. ​In 2019, he was nominated for Male Rapper of the Year at the UG Hip Hop Awards alongside other prominent artists such as Mun G and Feffe Bussi.
