Integrity Express Logistics (IEL) is a North American freight brokerage and Third-party logistics firm. It was founded by James Steger and Matthew Ventura in 2007 and is headquartered in Blue Ash, Ohio, United States.
The company operates across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and is the third largest privately held logistics firm in the Cincinnati metropolitan area, according to the Cincinnati Business Courier.[1]
History
[edit]Integrity Express Logistics was founded in Cincinnati and established as a Third-party logistics provider serving truckload and Freight brokerage markets.
In 2016, IEL announced plans to construct a new headquarters in Blue Ash, Ohio. The project was supported by local economic development incentives and was projected to create more than 100 additional jobs while retaining the company in the Cincinnati region.[2]
In 2019, the company launched Nexus, a web-based freight management platform designed to provide customers with shipment visibility and transportation management tools.
In March of 2021, Integrity Express Logistics sold a minority stake to transportation-focused investment firm EVE Partners.[3][4]
In 2023, the company expanded through acquisitions, including Ontario-based Dedicated Freight Systems and El Paso-based Sun City Group, increasing its presence in Canadian and cross-border freight markets.[5]
Operations
[edit]Integrity Express Logistics' services include full truckload (FTL), less-than-truckload (LTL), intermodal transportation, drayage, temperature-controlled freight, hazardous-materials transportation, and cross-border shipping services in Canada and Mexico.[6]
The company maintains 14 offices throughout North America and utilizes proprietary freight-management technology to provide shipment tracking and supply-chain visibility services.
As of 2026, the company reported more than 850 employees.[7]
Awards and Recognitions
[edit]Integrity Express Logistics has received multiple national and regional business recognitions since its founding in 2007. The company was named to the Inc. 500 in 2012, ranking No. 452 among America’s fastest-growing private companies,[8] and subsequently appeared on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies each year from 2012 through 2022. The company was also included on the Inc. Regionals Midwest rankings in 2020, 2021, and 2023, ranking No. 99 in the Midwest in 2023.[8]
In 2012, the company was named in the Cincinnati Business Courier's Fast 55 publication[9] as a finalist in 2025 and Fast 44 winner in 2016, with additional finalist recognitions in 2017 and 2018.
IEL has appeared on the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies from the years 2012 to 2022.[8]
Integrity Express Logistics received the Cincinnati Regional Chamber's Small Business of the Year Award in 2012, recognizing the company’s rapid growth and contributions to the Greater Cincinnati business community.
Integrity Express Logistics has also been ranked among North America’s largest freight brokerage firms by Transport Topics,[10][11] an industry publication that annually ranks leading logistics providers.
The company has received additional workplace culture honors, including recognition as a Top Workplace and multiple Best Places to Work awards and honors from regional Business Journal publications.[12][13]
Integrity Express Logistics’ Tampa office won the Tampa Bay Business Journal Best Places to Work award in the Large Company category in 2018. IEL Tampa also won the Extra Large category in 2022 and ranked #7 in 2025.[14]
Partnerships
[edit]In October 2022, Integrity Express Logistics entered into a multi-year partnership with the Cincinnati Bengals that granted the company naming rights to the team's indoor practice facility, known as the IEL Indoor Facility. The agreement also designated IEL as the Bengals' official logistics partner.[15][16][17]
Integrity Express Logistics has participated in fundraising initiatives in the Cincinnati region to support CancerFree KIDS, a nonprofit organization focused on childhood cancer research.[18] The company has also participated in community events involving Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase.[19]
