Fadie Musallet is a Palestinian-American entrepreneur and philanthropist based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.[1] He is the founder of The Giving Family, a meal-distribution organization, and appeared in the first season of the Netflix reality television series Dubai Bling.[2] He also works as an event manager and talent booker in the Gulf Cooperation Council region.[2]
Early life and education
[edit]Fadie was born in Florida to Palestinian parents and was raised there by his mother alongside four siblings following his father's death.[1] He graduated from Florida State University with a degree in sports management.[1] He worked in medical device sales in Michigan and Miami before relocating to Dubai in the mid-2010s.[3]
Career
[edit]Fadie has worked as an event manager and celebrity booker in the Gulf Cooperation Council region, and was part of the team that brought the band Kiss to Dubai for a New Year's Eve concert at Atlantis, The Palm.[2]
He appeared in the first season of the Netflix reality series Dubai Bling, released in October 2022, which follows the lives of business and media figures in Dubai.[2] He told The National that he did not continue with the series after the first season.[2]
In 2024, Fadie launched Em Fadie, a brand that sells Palestinian olive oil and directs a portion of its proceeds to charitable causes.[1] In 2025, he launched FadieCakes, a dessert brand that operates a "Buy One, Feed One" model under which a portion of sales funds meals distributed by The Giving Family.[1][4]
The Giving Family
[edit]Fadie founded The Giving Family in 2016.[5] The volunteer-run organization distributes weekly meals to manual labourers in Dubai.[5][2] According to Rolling Stone Middle East, the organization began with a distribution of several hundred meals and distributed approximately 250,000 meals during one Ramadan.[3]
