Emagia is a financial technology company founded in 1998 by Veena Gundavelli.[1]

History

Global Finance reported in 2004 that Emagia provided software for automation and business intelligence related to cash-flow processes. The publication reported that the company targeted businesses with more than $500 million in annual sales and identified Solectron, Network Associates and Hyperion among its customers. It also reported that Emagia had employees in the United States and development staff in India.[2]

In 2018, CFO reported that Emagia had provided order-to-cash automation platforms for more than a decade. Its Enterprise Receivables Management Suite included functions for credit, receivables, collections, deductions, cash-flow forecasting, cash application, and billing and payments. The publication also described an analytics offering for the order-to-cash cycle and customer payment behavior.[3]

Quartz reported in 2018 that Gia was developed as an automated assistant for financial tasks including billing, payments and cash flow. The publication reported that the system could communicate through voice and chat and work with enterprise software such as SAP.[4]

In 2004, Supply & Demand Chain Executive reported that Solectron had deployed Emagia's solutions across its global operations. The publication reported that Solectron used the software as shared-services infrastructure for accounts-receivable teams in North America, Europe and Asia.[5]
