Draw It Out is an American educational children's series centered on literacy education through arts, puppetry, animation, and live-action storytelling. The series was created by puppeteer, actor, activist, poet, and performance artist Justin Ward and is produced through Red Couch Productions. The series is filmed at the Detroit School of Arts in Detroit, Michigan.

The program is primarily intended for children in kindergarten through fifth grade and incorporates literacy instruction into an arts-based format. Educational topics featured in the series include phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, reading comprehension, reading fluency, homophones, spelling, word recognition, and pronunciation.

Draw It Out was created by Detroit artist and puppeteer Justin Ward. The idea for the series developed from a suggestion by Ward's art teacher at Detroit School of Arts to use his puppets in an educational program.
