Draft:Cycles Mercier

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cycles Mercier was a French bicycle manufacturer founded in 1919. It was historically based in a workshop in Andrézieux-Bouthéon, a commune located near Saint-Étienne in the department of Loire. It sponsored and provided bicycles for the notable professional cycling team of the same name.[1][2]

In 1991, the manufacturer was purchased by Accell Group and renamed Cycles France Loire, with the 'Mercier' brand name resold to Starship Investments, a holding company based in Luxembourg.[3]
