Christoph Rademacher is a German legal scholar specialized in intellectual property law. He is currently a Professor at the Graduate School of Law of Waseda University and the Co-Director of Waseda's RCLIP (Research Center for the Legal System of Intellectual Property).[1]

Early Life and Career

Christoph is a registered New York Attorney[2] and received an LL.M. from Stanford University in 2009, and has been involved in Stanford University's Tokyo Alumni Community.[3] He has had experience in law practice, having worked at Baker & McKenzie GJBJ Tokyo Aoyama Aoki Koma Law Office.[4] Before joining the Faculty of Law of Waseda University, he was an Assistant Professor at Waseda Institute for Advanced Study (WIAS).[5]

Awards

In 2019, Christoph Rademacher received the 2019 Waseda Research Award in recognition of his recent scholarship, especially his work in Japanese Patent and Design law in English language, published by western authors.[6]
