Belknap (sometimes spelled Bellknap) was an American post-hardcore trio from El Paso, Texas. Notable for their distinct "double-bass and drums" instrumentation without a traditional guitar, the lineup featured Matt Miller, Greg Sosa, and Matthew Schmitz.
Prior to the release of their debut EP Radio Ready, bassist Matt Miller departed the group in 2003 to join former At the Drive-In members in founding Sparta.
