Comment: This has been declined twice, but is far from meeting the notability criteria. The previous decline notice states that submissions need multiple secondary sources with significant coverage. Barry Hughes is a Scottish former professional boxer and boxing promoter from Glasgow. He competed professionally from the late 1990s before moving into boxing promotion in Scotland.

Boxing career

Hughes made his professional debut on 7 December 1998. Over his career he compiled a record of 17 wins, 3 losses and 1 draw across 21 professional bouts.^[1]
