Alankode Leelakrishnan is an Indian poet and writer who writes in the Malayalam Language.[1] He is also the State President of Yuva Kalasahithi.[2]

Biography

Leelakrishnan was born on 1 February 1960 to Balakrishnan Nambyar and Lakshmikuttyamma, at Alankode Village of Ponnani Taluk, Kozhikode.[1] He completed B.Com from University of Calicut in 1981. He started writing career at the age of 11, by writing a poem for Thalir Magazine.[1] He was awarded the Padmaprabha Literary Award in 2026.[1] Leelakrishanan contested in the 2026 Kerala Legislative Assembly election from Thirssur Constituency, but lost to Pallam J Rajan.[3]
