Alain Eloy (born 12 December 1966) is a Belgian actor, voice actor, singer and writer. Trained at the Institut national supérieur des arts du spectacle (INSAS) in Brussels, he has worked extensively in Belgian and French theatre and is particularly known in the French-speaking world for his voice acting and dubbing work.
Eloy is notably the French voice of Rick Sanchez in the animated television series Rick and Morty and the third French voice of Roronoa Zoro in One Piece. Early life and education
[edit]Alain Eloy was born on 12 December 1966 in Hermalle-sous-Argenteau, Belgium. He studied at the INSAS, a higher education institution specialising in theatre and audiovisual arts in Brussels.

Theatre career

Throughout his career, he has performed on stages in Belgium and France, as well as internationally, including in Scotland, Quebec and Serbia. His theatre work has involved collaborations with directors including Philippe Sireuil, Alain Maratrat, Stuart Seide, Christian Leblicq, Philippe van Kessel, Tatiana Stepanchenko, Paolo Magelli, Armand Delcampe, Jacques Lassalle, Marco Martinelli and Thierry Poquet."Alain Eloy". In 2001, Eloy appeared in Georges Feydeau's Un fil à la patte, directed by Frédéric Dussenne. He subsequently performed in productions including Une saison en enfer, based on the work of Arthur Rimbaud, and Mièvre miel et sirop tiède, a theatre and music production directed by Michaël Delaunoy.

[edit]In addition to acting, Eloy has worked as a writer and creator of theatrical and musical projects. In 1996, he co-wrote L'Armoire aux hippocampes with Michaël Delaunoy.
Eloy has maintained a strong connection with music throughout his career. He has created and participated in several musical projects, incorporating singing and live music into his theatrical work.
