Chicoreus spectrum is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.[1]
Description

The shell size varies between 23 mm and 165 mm. Colors can vary from a bright orange, to a reddish brown.
Distribution
[edit]This uncommon species is distributed in the Caribbean Sea and the Lesser Antilles; in the Atlantic Ocean off Brazil, living at depths from 30–100 metres
