Category:Taxonbars without from parameter
- This category is hidden on its member pages—unless the corresponding user preference (Appearance → Show hidden categories) is set.
- These categories are used to track, build and organize lists of pages needing "attention en masse" (for example, pages using deprecated syntax), or that may need to be edited at someone's earliest convenience.
- These categories also serve to aggregate members of several lists or subcategories into a larger, more efficient list (discriminated by classifications).
- Typically, tracking categories are automatically populated by templates invoked in pages or by the MediaWiki software (see Special:TrackingCategories for an overview of the latter).
This is a maintenance tracking category for {{Taxonbar}} templates which do not have a |from=/|from1= parameter. The |from= parameter should contain the Wikidata item (also referred to as 'entity' or 'QID') pointing to the Wikipedia page.
Editors are encouraged to add the Wikidata item in order to facilitate persistent tracking of Wikidata changes. This is done via {{Taxonbar|from=Q#}}, where Q# is the Wikidata item, which can be found by clicking on or mousing-over the "Wikidata item" link (Aaadonta angaurana used here as an example), under the "In other projects" heading on the left-hand side of the categorized page. For example, {{Taxonbar|from=Q4661045}}. Parameter names |from= & |from1= are synonymous and interchangeable.
If the "Wikidata item" link does not exist, then there is currently no link to Wikidata, and further analysis is necessary.
Pages in this category should only be added by Module:Taxonbar.
