Wikipedia:Wikipedia Connection/Non-OSU Wikimedians
Although Wikipedia connection is an OSU based student organization, we are welcome Wikimedians joining us, especially if you from Central Ohio area or are OSU Alumni. There are a few tips for you.
For events at 18th Avenue Library
- Parking: There are some visitor parking lots located around Ohio Stadium. You also can park at Tuttle Park Place Garage (anytime) or Arps Garage (only after 4 P.M. weekdays, or anytime on the weekend) . Rate table is here for your reference.
- Internet Connection: There is a public wifi called "WiFi@OSU" on campus.
- Public Transportation: COTA Line 7N, 18, 84 stop at "W Woodruff Ave & Tuttle Park Pl"
- Address of 18th Ave Library: 175 W 18th Ave, Columbus, OH 43210
- Food: Although Wikipedia Connection provides food and refreshments at most events, there is a cafe located on the first floor of 18th Ave Library. High Street is also a short walk away with many food options.
For events at Thompson Library
- Parking: There are some visitor parking lots located around Ohio Stadium. You also can park at Tuttle Park Place Garage and Ohio Union Garage at anytime, or at Arps Garage only after 4 P.M. weekdays, or anytime on the weekend. Rate table is here for your reference.
- Internet Connection: There is a public wifi called "WiFi@OSU" on campus.
- Public Transportation: COTA Line 7 or 18, stop at "Neil Ave & W. 11th Ave"
- Address of Thompson Library: 1858 Neil Ave., Columbus, OH 43210
- Food: Although Wikipedia Connection provides food and refreshments at most events, there is a cafe located on the ground floor of Thompson Library. High Street is also a short walk away with many food options.
