1	Justin Trudeau		2,338,088		On January 29, Canadian truckers—objecting to a vaccine mandate—converged in Canada's capital to protest outside an empty Parliament Hill. A slower, dumber version of Jan 6 isn't Trudeau's only problem this week, as he has also come down with COVID-19.
2	Royal Rumble (2022)		1,513,219		Royal Rumbles usually make it onto the list, and this one was no exception. One of WWE's flagship events took place last week, and has brought in the views as usual.
3	Joe Burrow		1,426,805		The NFL has once again brought several quarterbacks onto the list, with the highest being the star quarterback of the Cincinnati Bengals. Burrow led his team to two upset victories and into Super Bowl LVI, ending a 33-year drought.
4	Rafael Nadal		1,373,140		Novak Djokovic refused to get vaccinated and was kicked out of the Australian Open. Hence, his Spanish rival was the one who became in Melbourne, the all-time leader in Grand Slam titles with 21.
5	Pamela Anderson		1,240,979		Pam & Tommy started on Hulu, turning Lily James into this 90s sex symbol in the story of how her marriage to Tommy Lee resulted in a home sex tape being sold online in the early days of the World Wide Web.
6	Tom Brady		1,190,882		Brady's career as a quarterback came to an end on February 1, when he announced he was retiring from the NFL after 22 seasons. To call Brady's career legendary would be an understatement: he is the NFL leader in career quarterback wins, quarterback regular-season wins, quarterback playoff wins, and Super Bowl MVP awards, not to mention holding nearly every major quarterback record. (As a New England local who was born shortly after Brady joined the Patriots, his retirement genuinely left me in shock.)
7	All of Us Are Dead		1,104,235		South Korea gets one more Netflix hit in this show about a high school hit by the zombie apocalypse.
8	Cheslie Kryst		1,012,838		Three years after winning Miss USA 2019 and ending in the Miss Universe Top 10, which led her to a gig on Extra, Cheslie Kryst decided to end her life by jumping off a building at just 30, with her mother revealing she had been hiding a high-functioning depression from her public life.
9	Euphoria (American TV series)		941,042		The HBO series, which is in the midst of its second season, was renewed for a third season this week.
10	The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window		931,640		That mouthful of a title shows this Netflix show is a parody of The Woman in the Window, The Girl on the Train, and all those other recent "woman thinks she saw a murder" stories. To make sure the joke lands, the whole thing is played as serious as possible, no matter if with absurd things like how Kristen Bell's protagonist lost her daughter.
11	ASAP Rocky		923,679		This rapper, whose stage name is actually spelled with a dollar sign, owes his views to the announcement that much more famous girlfriend Rihanna is pregnant.
12	Deaths in 2022		919,978		When you look through the years and see what you could have been Oh, what you might have been If you would have more time...
13	Tommy Lee		912,688		Two years after The Dirt, more Mötley Crüe debauchery hit streaming with Pam & Tommy. Sebastian Stan plays the party animal drummer who married #5, and has a very unusual dialogue inspired by Lee's autobiography.
14	Mason Greenwood		880,559		The Manchester United footballer was arrested early this week after he was accused of rape and assault.
15	2022 Winter Olympics		855,360		The Winter Games opened this week with a slightly altered opening ceremony due to you-know-what. This Olympics have been marred by controversy due to the Chinese government's human rights abuses, and in particular the Uighur genocide, with several nations instating diplomatic boycotts as a result. Despite this, and significant organisational challenges due to you-know-what, the Games are still going on, including New Zealand's first gold medal.
16	Sean Payton		800,243		More American football, but not because of the current season, as the Netflix comedy Home Team has Kevin James portraying the former New Orleans Saints coach during his suspension by the NFL.
17	Rihanna		730,883		Pop star, billionaire, and thanks to #11, a future mother.
18	Joe Rogan		721,805		The past few weeks have been rough for the Spotify podcast host, to say the least. Right after apologizing for the controversy surrounding his podcast's role in the spread of COVID-19 misinformation, old clips of Rogan saying the N-word resurfaced—prompting yet another apology and singer-songwriter India Arie to join Neil Young and Joni Mitchell in removing her music from Spotify. Spotify appears to be standing behind Rogan at the moment, though whether he will face more severe repercussions remains to be seen.
19	Cristiano Ronaldo		720,310		#14 getting arrested wasn't enough for the Man U faithful, as the team's star CR7 also missed a penalty in the game where the Red Devils were eliminated by Middlesbrough F.C. in the FA Cup. Netflix also released a documentary series on his missus, Soy Georgina.
20	The Book of Boba Fett		689,309		The latest Star Wars streaming show took until his penultimate episode to enter this list. And ironically in the one installment that is effectively a chapter of The Mandalorian.
21	Matthew Stafford		683,490		#6 owes his retirement to this guy and the Los Angeles Rams defeating him in the Conference semifinals, and Stafford has now beaten the San Francisco 49ers to get the Rams in the Super Bowl, which will played in their home turf (maybe it will help the team get an L.A. title to join the one won in St. Louis?). Certainly a lucky break for the guy who was previously in a perennial bottom-feeder.
22	Daniil Medvedev		673,806		#4 broke records by defeating the previous Grand Slam winner, the Russian champion of the 2021 US Open. Jokes were raised that it was a bad Australian Open for "Danis", as Daniil, Danielle and Danilina all got to the finals and lost.
23	Whoopi Goldberg		658,680		Last month, a Tennessee school board removed Maus, a graphic novel about the Holocaust, from its curricula. This inspired a discussion on The View, where host Goldberg argued that the Holocaust "was not about race." She's been hit with a two week suspension.
24	List of Super Bowl champions		608,202		To show why most gridiron fans appreciate #6 retiring, he would by himself top his list. Thankfully, next Sunday the title goes to either #3 or #21.
25	Spider-Man: No Way Home		588,368		The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe film is close to falling off the list in its 12th consecutive appearance. This isn't surprising, given it's been well over a month since its release and superhero fans are beginning to turn their eyes towards the upcoming The Batman as its marketing begins to ramp up ahead of release. However, No Way Home has shown some remarkable staying power, still among the top three movies at the box office in the first week of February.
