Template:Mapriver

Propose merging Template:Mapriver with Template:Infobox river.
This new "Mapriver" template obviously overlaps with the map functionality in the main infobox river template. I don't see a reason why we should encourage more curly braces and redundant syntax in the article infoboxes when it can be done with normal parameters. Joy (talk) 11:04, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
