• Supporting evidence: Holla213 was blocked today for 3RR violations at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He had reverted on 4 occasions in the last 24 hours before I gave a last chance to revert his own edits. Instead, the IP arrived to restore his edits after they were reverted by another user. Three hours later, Recardoz arrived to support Holla213's positions (see also Recardoz's contributions to talk pages where he is vocal in his support of Holla213).

Investigating things further, I discovered User:Extensiontf at Harvard Extension School. Extensiontf was involved in edit wars there and, soon, Holla213 showed up to support Extensiontf. Extensiontf has similar edits to the University of North Carolina article. See by Ext. & by Holla as well as by Ext. & by Holla.

It appears to be that they are all related. Because of this pattern of supporting each other through socks, I believe we need to see if this is going on using other accounts as well. Thanks, Metros (talk) 20:44, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

It may also be worth noting that the IP address above is registered to Harvard and many of the edits made by these editors have been to a Harvard-related article. So there's a potential COI issue at play, here, too. --ElKevbo (talk) 20:50, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

Can we please get some action taken on this? It's been a week since this was first filed and this editor appears to have returned and is using an IP to evade his or her block. --ElKevbo (talk) 04:08, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

I agree that some action on this request would be nice. I have added a checkip on 74.94.191.89 based on this, as that edit identifies the editor as Holla213, and, based on the edit history of the IP, is is apparent that that IP has been assigned to Holla213 for some time.Kww (talk) 15:17, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
