I am responding to a report at Wikipedia:Administrators' Noticeboard#Editors of magic ?. These users have collaborated on the same article (Keeping Up Appearances) and have attacked each other (diff). The similarity of usernames, and of the pages they edit, suggests one of two possibilities.

1. Impersonation. Response: Ask the impersonator to change his username.
2. Sock puppetry. Response: Block the newer account indefinitely, and the older one temporarily.

Since the response will differ depending on whether there is sockpuppetry here, a checkuser will be useful. Shalom ^Hello 16:32, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
