Second parameter
[edit]Do any of yall have the ability to update the Template:User VK so that we can have an additional output option
So instead of using the box currently being shown on the template page, it could also display a simple text link output like is being done with Template:Twitter, Template:Facebook, Template:YouTube templates
It would help in the External links section of a lot of russian related articles.
So when using the code: {{User VK|your vk user name|2}}
it would show:
Title of The Wikipedia Article on VK, where the Title of the Wikipedia Article would be a link to https://vk.com/your vk user name
The original box currently being used could stay as is? {{User VK|your vk user name}}

- I was able to add the second parameter for those who only want to display a text link instead of a box link; already tested on sandbox and testcase pages and works fine 4vryng (talk) 01:21, 3 June 2025 (UTC)
