Question: why use template instead of directly typing the character?

Nowrap construction
[edit]I note that the {{USD}} template emits non-wrapping HTML, namely:
- {{USD|10.0 billion}} → <span style="white-space: nowrap">US$10.0 billion</span>
- {{euro|10.0 billion}} → €10.0 billion
This template should follow the same behavior as the USD template. Any chance of getting this fixed? Best wishes. RobbieIanMorrison (talk) 16:43, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
