This switches the current notice to a template (so that it can be edited for all the Help:Intro pages simultaneously) and adds an edit notice to help fight WP:CREEP. {{u|Sdkb}} talk 05:15, 6 June 2020 (UTC)

- MSGJ, my apologies for putting in so many requests; for centralization, I posted here, which might be a spot for discussion. I'm not aware of any generic notice for the help namespace; is that something that exists, or are you talking about creating it? In either case, my intention with the CREEP template is for it to go only on pages that are simplified versions of more complex pages designed for newer editors. Creep is certainly a problem beyond just those, but adding an editnotice for it crosses into the realm of offering generic editing advice on pages that have shown no special need for it, and there might be concerns about that.
