According to a 2025 study by Pánek et al., Orthozoa is not a clade, but Selenaionea is, and Selenaionea contains Selenaionidae (taking priority over Lunosea) and Neovahlkampfiidae. Alfa-ketosav (talk) 15:03, 17 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
This just made my day. I looked at this new study and not only did they describe Selenaionea, they also analyzed the relationships of ALL Heterolobosea ("Percolozoa") and established a new and coherent taxonomy of classes and orders that substitutes the incoherent mess from before (with Cavalier-Smith's obsolete naming system and para/polyphyletic taxa).
