See the Columbine effect article, the threshold for this seems to just be that a perpetrator praised or researched Columbine effect. AFeatherlessBipehead (talk) 18:54, 23 June 2026 (UTC)

Looking at this template might give the impression that literally dozens of mass shooters were influenced by Columbine. Simply looking at a few web pages does not constitute a copycat motive. I'm not happy about adding this poorly thought out template indiscriminately to articles.--♦IanMacM♦ ^{(talk to me)} 19:06, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
