Template:Left header
scope="row" style="text-align:left;"
Usage
[edit]This template provides the table cell definitions for a left justified table row header cell.
There is a single optional parameter |style= whose value is appended to the header cell's style definition.
For example:
{| class="wikitable"
|+ [caption text]
|-
! scope="col" | Title
! scope="col" | Column 2
! scope="col" | Column 3
|-
! {{year header}} | [[1920 in film|1920]]
|-
! {{left header}} | [row header]
| [normal cell] || [normal cell]
|-
! {{left header}} | [row header]
| [normal cell] || [normal cell]
|-
! {{year header}} | [[1921 in film|1921]]
|-
! {{left header}} | [row header]
| [normal cell] || [normal cell]
|-
! {{left header |style=background:#e0eef7; }} | [row header]
| [normal cell] || [normal cell]
|}
produces:
| Title | Column 2 | Column 3 | ||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1920 | ||||||
| [row header] | [normal cell] | [normal cell] | ||||
| [row header] | [normal cell] | [normal cell] | ||||
| 1921 | ||||||
| [row header] | [normal cell] | [normal cell] | ||||
| [row header] | [normal cell] | [normal cell] | ||||
Any extra attributes such as data-sort-value (see WP:SORT) for the row header cell follow {{left header}} directly, for example:
{| class="wikitable sortable"
|+ [caption text]
|-
! scope="col" | Title
! scope="col" | Column 2
! scope="col" | Column 3
|-
! {{left header}} data-sort-value="First Title" | The First Title
| [normal cell S] || [normal cell Q]
|-
! {{left header}} | Second Title
| [normal cell P] || [normal cell R]
|}
produces:
| Title | Column 2 | Column 3 |
|---|---|---|
| The First Title | [normal cell S] | [normal cell Q] |
| Second Title | [normal cell P] | [normal cell R] |
