Template:AE restriction/warning
Notice that you are now subject to an arbitration enforcement restriction
The following restriction now applies to you:
You failed to include the required parameter
|restriction=! Please check the documentation
You have been restricted Required parameter |rationale= not included
As an uninvolved administrator, I have imposed this restriction under the Arbitration Committee's ruling at [[{{{decision}}}]]. You may appeal this action using the applicable appeals process. Please contact me if anything above is unclear to you. ~~~~
| This template should always be substituted – use {{subst:AE restriction/warning}}. |
This template is a convenient, standardised method of notifying an editor that they have had a contentious topic warning imposed on them. Only uninvolved administrators may impose contentious topic warnings on another editor and warnings must be given in accordance with the procedure at Wikipedia:Contentious topics or a specific arbitration case.
The template requires three parameters:
{{subst:AE sanction/warning
| sanction = <description of the warning imposed on recipient of notice>
| rationale = for the reasons provided in response to [[Special:Permalink/REVISIONID#USERNAME|this arbitration enforcement request]].
| decision = <decision code – see below for list> OR <link to final decision page, *without* #Final_decision anchor>
}}
A blank copy of the template is below, so you do not have to delete the explanatory text from the above:
{{subst:AE sanction/warning
| sanction =
| rationale =
| decision =
}}
Remember you need to use this template in a "new message" on user talk pages; because a header is provided by this template, when you use it you don't have to enter a subject heading. The template must always be substituted. Your signature is automatically included.
The "decision code" is one of the same decision codes used in the other standardised Arbitration Enforcement templates:
