The prose for this article is not always clear and concise, and large chunks of this article are left uncited. Therefore, I believe delisting this article should be considered. 777burger user talk contribs 03:31, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
Change infobox to “Monotheistic/Dualist”
[edit]Request to edit the infobox. The lead section of this article and the citations in the infobox refer to a religion that is difficult to pinpoint (either monotheistic or dualist, and sometimes henotheistic). I have found way more references in books that describe it as a monotheistic faith rather than a dualist one, but because there are also Revelant Sources presenting the opposite view, we could adopt a phrasing similar to the Spanish article, e.g.: “Monotheistic [¹] / Dualist [²]”. Peer-reviewed and/or reliable sources
[edit]Working to add some more reliable sources; per the template above the article, there are many sections without any references at all (reliable or otherwise). So far, I have included some from the Journal for Islamic Studies, The Middle East Journal, and Iran & the Caucuses journal. SeminarianJohn (talk) 22:12, 14 May 2026 (UTC)
Monotheism/Dualism
[edit]An editor has changed the infobox to claim that Zoroastrianism as it is today is henotheistic. This is very inaccurate and, to use more subjective language, offensive to Zoroastrians today. However, personal feelings are not the rationale for needing this to be changed. The reason is that the majority of scholars regard modern Zoroastrianism as a monotheistic and dualistic faith. You have to really search to find scholars who still argue that Zoroastrianism is polytheistic or henotheistic. SeminarianJohn (talk) 20:57, 13 June 2026 (UTC)
