Aluminium Oxide?

Aluminium oxide is a white non-conductive powder. The paper was coated in aluminium (a shiny metal (as can be seen in picture), not its oxide). This provided the through path for the electricity which burned it off revealing the black beneath. This is correct under "spark printer" article. 188.222.184.114 (talk) 05:13, 14 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
