Hello Ramtears. I have read your articles concerning the descendants of the Hongxian Emperor (Yuan Shikai), but I have been wondering if he ever chose a name for his dynasty, as did the Ming, Qing, etc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.40.49.148 (talk) 02:06, 22 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think he did. The name was "Chinese Empire", and he himself was called the "Emperor of Chinese Empire". I know it's not single-charactered and seems weird. But it is the case. Technically, "The People's Republic of China" is the name of the current Chinese dynasty. Ramtears (talk) 03:40, 8 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
