Is that really the whole plot?

Since it's a whole novel and in view of all the adaptations (stage play, manga, film), I can't help suspecting that a bit more things happen in the story than what the article currently says. The plot as currently described sounds as if it would be enough for a short story at best. If the explanation is that the whole thing is described in a lot of detail, at least that should be pointed out. Anonymous44 (talk) 17:16, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
