@Dawkin Verbier: You quoted WP:COATRACK in your revert of my removal, but Yong Siew Toh has no claims of notability except for a conservatory named after her on the basis of a donation to NUS. Also COATRACK said brief information of the background behind a key detail, how is a non-notable cousin a key detail of Yong Pung How? Even the primary source does not give any semblance of notability, world class musician or released any notable albums. Repeating COATRACK does not give any better explanation or explaining why this information is good to stay on Yong's article. Justanothersgwikieditor (talk) 01:50, 10 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
I don't see how the fact that you have a music school named after you is not a notable one. You are perhaps confusing the standard of notability for individual articles with the standard for a fact to be included in an article. Further, Yong Loo Lin is a notable person, even though he doesn't have an article. He's a very famous businessman. Dawkin Verbier (talk) 13:21, 10 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
