Vehicle boneyard article

[edit]

Would someone make the Vehicle boneyard article. This can mention aircraft boneyards, Ship boneyards, and Ground vehicle boneyards (this would be a redirect from Junkyard I guess). Would help people to find the boneyard they seek (eg to fix up a vehicle for personal or communal transport). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.246.177.113 (talk) 16:21, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps the term Ground vehicle wreck yard is even better, replace the boneyards in the names above by wreck yard (not wrecking yard) as the latter suggests its a yard for wrecking stuff, not a collection of wrecks —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.246.177.113 (talk) 16:23, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

Just pointing out several years later that "wrecking yard" isn't British, but oh well... 86.128.194.133 (talk) 20:00, 23 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Autokerkhof (Flanders, Belgium).

[edit]

I don't know how it is called in the Netherlands, but we in East and West Flanders (Belgium) call it Autokerkhof (graveyard for automobiles). In the city of Ghent (East Flanders) it is called Otaukirkauf (from Autokerkhof). DannyJ.Caes (talk) 17:43, 24 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
